IS BEING A GIRL A CRIME??

Today after watching a crime series on a much warmed up issue of the country, I was sitting alone in my room, staring the ceiling of the roof and was wondering that where our nation is heading to?
The episode visualized a gang rape took place in Delhi at Dwarka. Even after 66 years of independence our country lacks in providing a secure society to females. The girl was a call center employee and was going back home after her shift with her friend at night. It was around 1:30a.m. when four men came and grabbed both of them and threw them in an empty truck parked at the roadside. One of the girls named Varsha some how managed to escape from the grab of those sinful people but other girl Charu could not make it out. Varsha straight away went to police station and asked for help but it was too late. Charu was taken away and was piteously raped by those jerks. She pleaded, cried but all went in vain. They didn't care about anything in-front of their lust, nearly 50 minutes later she was thrown out at the roadside on a highway to Haryana. She was asked to hire a taxi and go back home with Rs.150/-, given by one of the rapists. They didn't had an inch of guilt about what they just did rather they were complaining that the girl was not cooperative. Scoundrels!
Did they consider her a slut or what? If the lust was so overflowing, then why don’t they go to red light areas prostitutes are always ready to entertain them. The poor girl was bleeding from every part of her body, blue marks on various areas, hands got scratched, mouth was swelled up, she was aching but not a single soul was there to help her at this odd hour of night. On other hand Varsha was doing every possible endeavor to trace her with the help of police, until Charu herself called her and told where she was.
Immediately she reached there with police and ambulance. She was taken to hospital for instant medical treatment. Varsha informed Charu’s parents about the incident who were living in Lucknow. Charu was the only child of her parents; she came to Delhi to help her dad financially to make him overcome his debts by doing this job. Was she wrong at her part? Is being a girl restricts us from living individually or to make our own identity? Is doing a job a sin for a female?
If our prestigious government can’t promise us security in the capital of the country then where would it? India has developed a lot after independence but till this date girls live in a fear of getting harrested. Parents are scared of sending their grown up daughters out of home that any man with lust in his eyes would snatch their girl, her innocence and put her in shit holes for ages.
This is also one of the biggest reasons of female feoticide being flourishing in India. People kill their girl child in mother’s womb not only for their desire of a boy child but also for the fear of getting their heads dug into dumps if their daughters become a victim of the dirty eyes of any of these arseholes residing in every society with the face of innocence over their lusty intentions.
Government complains about rising crimes but is government itself doing anything about these two very serious offenses in society. Daily we come across hundreds of cases of female foeticide, eve teasing and female sexual harresment but is our government an inch bothered about them.
Today girls have the ability not only to walk along men but also to take a step ahead but they don’t. They don’t because of the fear, the terror of being crushed by any man in the society who is just obsessed about sex.
A thousand of daughters in India daily attempt suicide because of being a victim of this sinful act. They end their life because they are not too strong to handle society’s attitude towards them. People make those innocent fellows that it was their fault that they got raped. They suicide because they get tired of people who think that now they could take those victims to their bed easily and treat them their whores as if they r not left with any self respect.
Still today after long term independence we have not grown out of our patriarchal society. I don’t know when the girls of my proud country would feel free to step out of their house and walk along the world without this fear in their hearts.
Not only this even female feoticide seen an immense increment in statistics. When a gets pregnant it is the most wonderful moment in her life, it is supposed that a woman is born again when she conceives a baby in her womb but any one bother about the feeling of that mother who has to kill her child in her womb only because it was a girl child.
Aren't girls having the right to get life? Are they deprived to come in this godly world? Can’t they be a part of our society?
For government may say that they have passed a law that denies any hospitals or doctors from doing sex determination test but does it care about checking whether the law is being enforced or not so many doctors do this test freely without any fear any why would they fear when the law makers are themselves involved with them in violating the law.
In this era people are so self centered and money minded that their hands don’t shiver before killing any one. People are ready to kill their own children for the sake of so called money which is infact good for nothing.
What would money do if there is no one to spend it with? Can money bring every joy to people which is needed for a satisfied and contented living? Can money bring the charm, smile and joy which a girl child could bring to their family?
The only question of mine is if there are no daughters now then from where would you expect a son in your dark future?

If the girls are not saved now then be ready for the not so far female drought in the country.
